Rhymes of Bharat
Limerick - 1

Holi
There once was a day called Holi,
When colors flew high, oh golly!
Kids painted their friends,
With splashes and blends,
Laughing and dancing so jolly!
Limerick - 2

Little Krishna
Little Krishna, so naughty and keen,
Stole butter that shone with a sheen.
Up the pots he would climb,
Stealing butter each time,
Mischief-monger—yet loving, serene!
Limerick - 3

Hanuman soared

Hanuman soared through the sky so bright,
Spotted the sun, a fruit in sight!
He reached out with glee,
As big as could be,
Chasing the day with all his might!
Limerick - 4

Kumbhakarna

Kumbhakarna would slumber for days,
Through battles and war's fiery blaze.
When woken at last,
He'd eat a repast,
Then yawn and return to his ways!
