Hari Hari, yes Ma
Hari, Hari,
Yes, Ma?
Out of bed?
Yes, Ma!
Bowed to earth?
Of course, Ma!
Saw the sun?
Yes, yes, Ma!
Are you on time?
Oh… no, Ma!
Then, open your eyes.
Ha, ha, ha!

Rama Rama, leads the way
Rama, Rama, hero bright,
Did you win the epic fight?
Yes sir, yes sir,
with strength and might,
With Hanuman's leap
and Lakshman's sight.
Together we fought
the dark of night,
And brought back Sita
in the morning light.
Rama, Rama, wise and true,
Does Ayodhya sing for you?
Yes sir, yes sir,
they sing and pray,
For peace and joy
to come their way.
In every heart,
his virtues lay,
Rama, Rama,
leads the way.

I am a little Oil Lamp
I'm a little oil lamp,
With a golden hue,
Here is my wick,
Here is my flame, too.
When I'm lit up,
see my gentle glow,
Offer your prayers,
Let devotion flow.

One two, morning’s hue
One, two,
morning's hue,
Three, four,
out the door,
Five, six,
flowers he picks,
Seven, eight,
to temple, straight,
Nine, ten,
sing again.
With the sun,
he rises, bends,
Yoga peace,
it never ends.
Then to school,
with books and pen,
Learning more,
till home again.

Jai Shri Rama!
An ode to duty and true dharma,
Jai Shri Rama !
His virtues - a grand panorama
Jai Shri Rama !
Guiding us through life's drama,
Jai Shri Rama !
His name's enough - to rid of trauma.
Jai Shri Rama !

Two little hands
Two little hands,
folded in prayer,
Two little feet,
to temples where we fare.
Two little ears,
for Rama's stories told,
One little heart,
where faith forever holds.
Two little eyes,
with devotion filled,
One little voice,
with love instilled.
One little mouth,
chanting Rama's might,
And saying 'Rama Rama'
every single night.

Do one thing
When you pray,
pray with care,
Talk to God,
He’s right there.
Learn each word,
learn each letter,
Focus makes
learning better.
When you eat,
just eat so slow,
Taste each bite,
and feel the glow.
Do one thing
and do it well,
With a clear mind –
in peace you dwell.

Rama Rama
One two three
Rama, Rama
one, two, three,
Will you come
and guide me?
Hanuman, Hanuman
four, five, six,
How's your devotion
deep and fixed?
Gopis, Gopis
seven, eight, nine,
Will you teach me
the dance divine?
When I counted
up to ten,
The peacock says,
"Now pray again."

O Butter thief!
Krishna, dear,
with jewels so bright,
Are you rich?
I ask with delight.

"Yes, my child,"
with a twinkle, He said,
"But I love fun more
than my fancy bed.”
Why steal butter,
from the shelf up high?
"To make you giggle,
to see your smile!
Not for the butter,
creamy and thick,
But for your heart,
with every trick!".

We Honour Dear Mother
In fields of green,
beneath the sky,
Our gentle cow,
so sweet and shy.
Oh, lovely cow,
with grace you roam,
Your presence turns
a house to home.
Like mother's love,
your gifts abound,
In your presence,
pure grace is found.
With milk so pure,
and love so true,
We honour you mother;
in all we do.

Tulasi,O Tulasi
In our home,
Where love does dwell,
Grows Tulasi,
With her sweet smell.
Tulasi’s leaves,
So bright and neat,
Make our home,
Feel so complete.
Every morning,
We give her care,
Watering her leaves,
So green and fair.
Round and round,
We dance with glee,
Singing songs
So joyfully!
A sacred gift,
At Krishna's feet,
Filling our heart
With joy so sweet.
With each watering,
A promise true,
To care for nature,
In all we do.
For Tulasi teaches
Us the way,
To cherish devotion,
Every day.

Simple Living
In fields where Krishna's
footsteps tread,
A child's words
softly spread:
Krishna, are you so rich, I see?
I find you always, in bliss and glee.
Why then, in jungles,
do you roam?
With cows and dung,
make your home?
With laughter sweet,
Krishna replied,
"In simple living,
true joys reside.
In pastures green
and skies above,
With cows and friends,
in pure love.
I cherish life
in simple ways,
So, love and joy
fill my days."

Ganga,O Ganga

Glug, glug,
Over Vishnu's feet,
Making the world
Oh-so neat!
Splash, splash,
From high above,
From Shiva's locks,
So full of love.
Like a mother,
Kind and true,
She blesses lands
With life anew.
Splatter, splosh,
In joy we dive,
With Ganga's touch,
We all come alive!
Swish, swish,
Her waters sing,
Calms the soul
What joy it brings!
In her embrace,
Peace we find,
Ganga blesses,
All mankind.
So we gather,
Along her banks,
To Offer prayers,
To give her thanks.

Krishna and Balarama
Krishna and Balarama, hand in hand,
Went to Yamuna's blessed land.
To fetch some water for their play,
On a sunny, joy-filled day.
Stumbled Rama, Krishna caught him tight,
They laughed and played in pure delight.
To the riverbank they swiftly went,
In their blissful merriment.
Up they got and home they sped,
With water for their cowherd shed.
And in their home, with love so true,
They sang and danced, just like you!

Five little cows

Five little cows,
Went out one day,
To graze in fields, so green and gay.
Mother cow said,
"Moo, moo, moo, moo."
But only four little cows came back.
Four little cows,
Went out one day,
Over the meadow, so far away.
Mother cow said,
"Moo, moo, moo, moo."
But only three little cows came back.
Three little cows,
Went out one day,
Through the forest, in playful play.
Mother cow said,
"Moo, moo, moo, moo."
But only two little cows came back.
Two little cows,
Went out one day,
By the river, where the waters sway.
Mother cow said,
"Moo, moo, moo, moo."
But only one little cow came back.
One little cow,
Went out one day,
Chasing butterflies, in joyous play.
Mother cow said,
"Moo, moo, moo, moo."
But none of the five little cows came back.
Sad mother cow,
Went out one day,
Searching for her herd, in fields so gay.
The sad mother cow said,
"Moo, moo, moo."
And Krishna brought back all the five cows.

Radha had a little calf
Radha had a little calf,
Little calf, little calf.
Radha had a little calf,
With eyes as dark as night.
And everywhere that Radha went,
Radha went, Radha went.
Everywhere that Radha went,
The calf was sure a sight.
It followed her to the temple one day,
Temple one day, temple one day.
It followed her to the temple one day,
Spreading love along the way.
It brought joy to all who saw,
All who saw, all who saw.
It brought joy to all who saw,
In the temple, filled with awe.
But the priest, he gently said,
Gently said, gently said.
But the priest, he gently said,
"Is this calf poorly fed?"
So the calf returned with the girl,
Returned with girl, returned with girl.
So the calf returned with girl,
To feast on meadow grass swirl.

Thank you teacher

Obey your teachers, dear ones, do,
They shine a light, so bright and true.
With respect we greet the morning sun,
And thank our teachers for all they've done.
Grateful hearts, to them we bring,
Their praises loud, we joyfully sing.
To serve our teacher is our aim,
For they ignite our inner flame.
Blessed are we, to have them near,
Guiding us to get rid of fear.
Like them, may we too shine bright,
Teachers lead us from dark to light.

Krishna, what do you eat?
"Krishna, Krishna", gently asked a child
Treats do you like or things from the wild?
"With devotion, offer what you will,
With love and faith, my heart you fill."
No Krishna, No, what do you adore?
"Leaves, flowers, grains and more
Fruits and milk are truly divine
Offer with love, and they'll be mine"
With a smile, the child understood,
Krishna loves all that's pure and good.

Thank you Sun
Sun up high, bright and gold,
Wakes us up, makes us bold.
On time every day, never late,
Teaching us to shine, that's great!
Spreading light, far and wide,
Darkness gone, nowhere to hide.
Gives and gives, never asks,
Loving all, in warmth we bask.
Energy for all, near and far,
Bright like a superhero star.
Thank you, Sun, for all you do,
In your glow, we grow too.

Flowers of Bharat
Lotuses white, roses red,
For Lord Rama, they're sweetly spread.
Marigolds bright, jasmines pure,
In devotion, our hearts secure.
Parijata, champa, delight so fine,
In Rama’s honor, at His shrine.
Petals soft, fragrance kind,
To Rama's feet, we lovingly bind.
Just a few, in palms we hold,
To offer Rama, with love untold.

Rama, why do
you carry a bow?
Rama, Rama, with a bow so grand,
Do you fight all day, across the land?
"No, little one, no need to fight,
But, to guard you day and night.
The secret, dear child, is love so true,
I protect my children, just like you."
"Thank you, Rama," the children sing,
Our loving protector, our hero king!

Krishna, How many names
do you have?
From the Lord of Badari on the snowy lands
To Govinda and Srinathji of the Sandy tracts
On the banks of the Yamuna, near is Kanha
The shores of Sarayu say, our dear Rama.
The east-coast sees the all-embracing Jagannath,
On the banks of Kaveri, lies the loving Ranganath.
On the coast of the west, is the Dwaraka Lord
The divine Varadaraja, in Tamil land adored.
Panduranga Vitthal on the banks of Bhimarathi
And, the majestic Venkateshwara of Tirupati
The great Padmanabha, resting on Serpent coils
Udupi and Guruvayur show sweet Krishna smiles.
The ferocious Narasimha of Ahobilam
And Varaha standing at Simhachalam.
"Counting, counting," children sing,
"How many names, oh Krishna, King?"
Infinite and bright, His reply rings true,
"Call me with love, and I'll be with you."
We sing of your names, O Hari divine,
In every land, your love does shine.

Loving all

O Fish, O Fish, in the stream,
Did Vishnu in your guise gleam?

O Turtle, on your back so wide,
Did the cosmic mountain ride?
O Boar, with your snout so strong,
Did you lift the earth, right the wrong?
O Lion, O Lion, so fierce and bold,
Where were you as Narasimha roared?
O Swan, O Swan, so pure and fair,
Did Hari once take your flair?
O mighty Bird, with wings to glide,
Do you know where Garuda bides?
O Monkey, playful, full of zest,
Did you aid Rama in his quest?
O Cow, O Cow, gentle and sweet,
Did Krishna play near your feet?
O Bear, so strong and full of might,
Do you recall Jambavan’s fight?
In every creature, large or slight,
Vedas teach us to see the light.
In respect and love, our hearts bow,
To all His forms, here and now.

To my loving Parents.
Mother and Father, in light so grand,
Vedas guide us, by your side we stand.
Blessed I am, as your dear loved one,
Thankful for all, and all you have done.
Through forests deep, and trials wide,
Father's word - Rama's ultimate guide.
Even as the world seemed so grey,
His love for Kaikeyi did never sway.
Shravan Kumar’s love, in stories told,
Bore in the baskets, his parents old.
A journey of love, across lands so vast,
His service to them, forever to last.
Pundalik's love, so pure and true,
To his parents, he did all he could do.
Lord Hari stood on a brick, so kind,
This tale of love, in Pandhari, we find.
Service to you, the Vedas say,
Pleases Lord Hari, in every way.
I lend my heart, to serve, to care,
For you, dear parents, everywhere.

Thank you Mother Earth
Each morning as we rise, let's greet,
With a gentle bow to Mother Earth's feet.
"Thank you, dear Mother, for the day,
Your gifts of life, in every way."
You give us food, air, and play,
Nurture us all, night and day.
You feed each bird, bug, and tree,
Care for all, from bee to sea.
Embrace our steps, and catch our fall,
Forgiving Earth, who loves us all.
Your patience vast, a constant flow,
Like mother's love, it always shows.
All creatures big, and creatures small,
On Mother Earth, there's love for all.
She loves every child, bird, and bee,
Let's love her back, you and me!

How do I greet?
"Ma, how do I greet,
the new friends I meet?"
Just see the time, add 'Good' so neat,
Morning, noon or night, it's quite a treat!
But, if clock's a mystery to you, my lad
And 'Good' feels wrong, in times bad.
Then fold your palms, just say 'Namaste',
A way to respect, all time, in every way.
"That's nice, but is there more I can say,
To make friends smile, in a playful way?"
'Jay Shri Krishna' is a joyful greet,
Full of love, it's really so sweet.
"But Ma, three words? Isn't that long?
Can’t it be shorter, like a small song?"
Then just smile wide and keep calm,
And with all the love, say "Ram Ram".

Rangoli Rhyme
Come, come, let's start today,
With colors bright, in a happy way!
Dots, dots, tap, tap, tap,
Tiny patterns fill the gap.
Round and round, swish, swish, swish,
Curves and lines, like a magic wish.
Shapes of flowers, sun, and star,
Our Rangoli shines from near and far!
Rice and petals, colors so bright,
White, yellow and red in sight.
Little hands, big hearts we bring,
To make our Rangoli and happily sing.
From young to old, all join in play,
Creating beauty to greet the day.
Hari, heart we do put, to welcome you,
In colours of orange, green, and blue.
It's beauty divine, oh, such a sight!
Filling our world with love and light.

See me learn...
See me walk, in the woods so grand,
A bow in my hand, just like Rama's stand.
I'm off to do right, and be brave and strong,
Like Rama who fought cruel and wrong.
See me smile, and lend a hand,
Like Sita, so kind, throughout the land.
I play with my friends, honest and true,
Like Lakshman, to Rama, stuck like glue.
See me listen, see me learn,
From tales of old, for wisdom I yearn.
Be good, be fair, let your heart sway,
Ramayana tells us, that's the best way.
See me share, see me care,
With a good deed here, and a kind word there.
Simple truths from the stories so grand,
Helping others, and taking a stand.

The tiny red dot
My mother’s bindi,
Small and sweet.
Makes her look,
Just so complete.
Tiny and round,
Full of grace,
It brings a smile,
To her face.
It reminds her,
To look within,
Peace and joy,
Truly begin.
A mark of God,
A mark of care,
The tiny red dot,
Always there.
A special sign,
This tiny red dot,
Ma dotes on it, and
I love it a lot.
